Activities to preserve and promote traditional and cultural heritage of Dao Thanh Y people in Quang Ninh

As one of the three triangles of socio-economic development in the Northern delta and midlands, Quang Ninh is often referred to as an ecological, economic and cultural region. However, a large part of the province is also located in the Northeast region with clear mountainous areas. In recent years, Quang Ninh province has paid special attention to the conservation, promotion and exploitation of cultural heritage of the communities of ethnic minorities living in mountainous and highland communes to preserve real estate, improving population life and developing tourism economy. The article covers the typical cultural characteristics of the Dao Thanh Y people in Quang Ninh, studies the current situation of conservation and promotion of cultural heritage of the Dao Thanh Y community and suggests some solutions to improve effectiveness. Results of this activity, based on experience, a number of models have been successfully applied in other localities in Vietnam
