This article reports initial findings from a case study done with the students taking an English for Banking and Finance course in a university. The paper initially provides different views of difficulties in learning and proceeds with describing the present investigation setting. Based on qualitative inquiry, self-reports, and interviews, data are collected, and themes are drawn.
